About Rotary Club of Chhoti Kashi, Mandi

Rotary Club of Chhoti Kashi, Mandi was chartered on 5 September 2022 with a vision to bring together individuals committed to the Rotary ideal of Service Above Self. Situated in the historic town of Mandi, fondly known as "Chhoti Kashi" for its rich spiritual heritage and numerous ancient temples, our club draws inspiration from the town's enduring values of culture, compassion, and community service.
Since its inception, the club has been actively engaged in meaningful service initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life in our community. Through projects in the fields of health, education, environmental conservation, youth development, and humanitarian service, we strive to create lasting and positive change. Guided by Rotary's ideals of fellowship, integrity, diversity, and service, Rotary Club of Chhoti Kashi, Mandi is dedicated to serving the community while fostering goodwill and friendship among its members.

Why "Chhoti Kashi"?

Nestled in the heart of Himachal Pradesh, Mandi is affectionately known as "Chhoti Kashi" (Little Kashi) because of its remarkable spiritual and cultural heritage. The town is home to a large number of ancient temples, many of which date back several centuries and showcase exquisite Himalayan architecture and craftsmanship. Among these, the revered Bhootnath Temple, Triloknath Temple, Panchvaktra Temple, and Ardhnarishwar Temple stand as enduring symbols of Mandi's rich religious legacy.
The annual International Shivratri Festival of Mandi is celebrated with great devotion and grandeur, bringing together hundreds of deities from across the region and attracting devotees and visitors from all parts of the country. This unique tradition has earned Mandi a special place on India's cultural and spiritual map.
